When the Sun shines after a heavy snowfall, even an ordinary roof top or a barren piece of land appears extraordinary. And when it happens in Switzerland, an extraordinary landscape becomes sheer poetry; a magic.

Clouds were drifting lazily in the blue sky and not intended on getting somewhere, unlike the modern society, where every single mind is trained to reach a certain goal. I felt, those floating clouds were enjoying the vast blue canvas and could feel the unusual love story between the sky and the cloud!
I was aware that amidst the vast uncertainties of life, standing there at that moment is a pure miracle. It was such a wonder that each moment brought fulfillment and not hunger for something more beautiful in the future.
The annual balloon festival in Chateau-d’Oex, Switzerland
We went to Chateau-d’Oex that morning to watch the annual balloon festival. After arriving there, to our surprise, we came to know that the balloons were not flying due to the bad weather. But we were not heart broken. We were enjoying the vast blue above, the delicious sun and all the whites around.
A coffee cup and a story in Château-d’Oex, Switzerland
To sink more in those beautiful moments and to enjoy the shining sun on our shoulders, we craved the company and warmth of a coffee cup and so headed towards a café.
The startling beauty of snow covered Château-d’Oex, and an exotic aroma from the coffee drew my mind afar where the peaks soar in harmony. It was indeed a moment that requires no future to complete and no past to describe; it was all complete in itself. My feeling, seeing and thinking too were absorbed in the delight of that very moment.
Wherever I travelled in Switzerland, I always found Swiss aesthetic sense fascinating. They look at every detail to make any destination pleasant and also introduce various travel passes for otherwise expensive locations in this expensive country. While sipping on the coffee, I saw that even the color of all the tents for the balloon festival were white. I am not only in love with the Alps or Lake Geneva but also their skills at planning and designing.
A bright day, a cup of coffee, snow clad mountains, a camera and a romantic partner; a date that goes far beyond my dreams. Truth is not only stranger but sweeter than fiction. Cheers La Dolce Vita!
While sipping in the warmth from the cup, I suddenly saw a large white church, some greens and solitude. The vista whispered to me that we don’t need more things, which are just a click away from the comfort of our sofas, but nature. The vista whispered to me that we don't need more things, which are just a click away from the comfort of our sofas, but nature.
