Whenever I think about spending a romantic day with my better half, I imagine ourselves mostly in the lap of nature; hearing the waves splashing on the shore in a beautiful beach; sipping on hot coffee while overlooking a snow covered landscape; hand in hand, walking down a small and cozy green hamlet amidst mountains; sitting quietly before a flowing rivulet; seeing ripples and vanishing trails formed by a boat while cruising on a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains or laying under a thousand glittering stars on a dark night in a desert.

Cities to spend a romantic day!

Cities have a completely different appeal to lovers. If I am thinking of choosing cities to spend a romantic date, then the names that flash in my mind are the cities of love – Venice and Paris. If taking a gondola ride and passing those canals in Venice is not romantic, then what is? While looking at Rodin’s famous sculpture -The Kiss, if you cannot feel the odyssey of romance then when could you?

Travel Realizations

Love has been defined by many. Its meaning has many forms and facets. It evolves with time, with experiences and with age. After years of wandering, I realized, the purpose is not to define but to feel and comprehend; Love is a celebration on  VALENTINES DAY but is not limited to it; its horizon reaches to empathy, compassion and modesty.
