One of the unique things of memory is, it comes back often. Sometimes it makes us happy, sometimes we become melancholic and often it inspires. My string of memories binds all the inspiring reminiscences with tender care and nurtures it passionately. It often surfaces amidst the labyrinths of my mind, enlivens me when I feel down, rendering me refreshed with utmost zeal to acquire knowledge, more and more.

We all remember Bohr’s atomic model, that we studied in Chemistry during our school days. Professor Neils Bohr, who won the Nobel prize in 1922 for discovering the fundamental structure and character of the atom, its components and how they interact, was a Danish citizen. When I arrived in Copenhagen, visiting The Neils Bohr Institute undoubtedly topped our priority list.
Whenever mundane reality clogs my thoughts, invades the realm of the senses, shrinks me and shakes the tranquility of my mind, I gear up to travel to new places if time and situation permit or else I just open an unread book. Both of them comfortably take me afar from the present. And then, I find myself all charged up again like a phoenix. It is time to say “Bye 2014” and embrace 2015 with new challenges, resolutions and dreams. I hope that we will reflect on the modern values of society- Liberty, Fraternity and Equality with care and love in this new year and years to come, irrespective of any culture, country or race. I always begin any journey with my books – the safest and the most secure pal. I live several lives while reading them.
One of my biggest weaknesses is travelling. It enriches me. On one hand, the wonderful nature in Norway, Switzerland , France and Denmark etc instills me with peace, inspiring places like Nobel Museum in Stockholm , CERN Switzerland , The Neils Bohr Institute in Copenhagen and The Freud Museum in Vienna etc inspires me and on the other hand some places take away words from my pen, takes away thoughts from my mind and senses from within.
